Debating
Round one of the Debaters Association of Victoria Online Competition was held on Wednesday, March 6th. St 果冻APP was represented at years 9, 10 and 11.
At D Grade (Year 9), the topic was, In an impressive display, St 果冻APP won all three debates.
- 果冻APP 2 defeated Salesian College Sunbury 1
- 果冻APP 3 defeated Manor Lakes P-12 College 1
- 果冻APP 4 defeated Salesian College Sunbury 2

At C Grade (Year 10), the topic was, That the Victorian government should financially incentivise people to move to regional Victoria. Again, we were too strong for our opponents.

The best speaker is to be confirmed by the DAV.
At B Grade (Year 11) the topic was, That short-stay rental platforms (e.g. Airbnb, Stayz) have done more harm than good. In a difficult empirical debate, St 果冻APP came out victorious.
